A Change…

Hey friends!

So this is a personal little note from my heart to yours.   

Keith and I have been spending a lot of time planning new photography adventures for 2017 and we are so excited to share those with you.   With that, comes an important change for this blog that’s close to my heart that I want to share with you.

This past month I have sat down and really searched my heart and the dreams tucked in there. Can I be honest? As much as I adore and love photography, it’s not my primary passion.  Since I was a little girl I have felt a pull on my heart to speak, write and teach about my relationship with Jesus.  As time has passed, that pull has now been clearly identified as a calling and it’s something I can’t leave collecting dust on a shelf any longer.

I fell in love with the brand name, A Quest For Light because it encompasses who I am as a photographer and as a Christian.  At its core however, it was always focused on Christ being the source of my Light, and chasing that.  The photography was always second.  For a while lingering between the two worked, but now our photography platform has become a lot larger.  Keith and I feel it’s time for me to migrate A Quest For Light into a place strictly about faith.

So folks, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having subscribed to my blog but starting next week, you’re going to see a major shift in what A Quest For Light is all about.

For all things photography related, you’re going to want to subscribe to the blog below.  This new blog will stem from our website at Photography Workshop Company and Charleston Photography Tours.  All postings for this blog will be photography related.

If you’re not interested in reading posts about faith, your calling and the Bible, just go ahead and unsubscribe.  You won’t hurt my feelings, I promise.  I’ll be happy to have you reading over at our photography blog.

For those of you who want to stay the course with me, just get ready.  Don’t go anywhere. The things tucked into my heart have been brewing for 20 years and I’m itching to get started on this journey with you.

We’ll start 2017 with a series I’m calling Unsatisfied: Pursuing A Divine Romance.
